20241017_GCC Irish Women Workplace Index

This event is jointly organised by the German and Irish Chambers

Last week we were joined by the Irish Chamber for a thought-provoking session on the evolving ESG landscape with a focus on societal challenges, led by Nicole Yuen, Founder and CEO of the Women Workplace Index.

Here are some key takeaways from the event:

  • Beyond Gender Parity: It’s time for corporations to move past counting women in leadership roles and create real, lasting change by supporting women in both career and family life.

  • The "S" in ESG: As environmental strategies become ingrained, social issues like declining fertility rates and gender equality in the workplace are critical to the sustainability conversation.

  • Women Workplace Index: Nicole Yuen shared insights on how companies can leverage this platform to track, disclose, and improve policies that support women, contributing to long-term societal sustainability.

  • Corporate Strategy Shift: Businesses must act now to adapt to demographic changes that will impact every industry.
A big thank you to Nicole Yuen for her invaluable insights and all participants!
