This event is organised by the Dutch Chamber
The China Seminar is a much‑anticipated annual Flagship Event that the Dutch Chamber has hosted since 1992.
Each year, the seminar provides an opportunity to review, discuss, and analyse developments in China. This year, the focus will be on Hong Kong / Chinese companies going global, embarking on a significant outbound journey to invest and trade across the world. This expansion (targeting Europe via the Netherlands) is driven by the pursuit of new markets, advanced technology, and strategic assets. This "going out" trend not only fuels growth and innovation within the companies themselves, but also fosters greater economic cooperation and development in their host countries, reshaping global trade and investment landscapes.
The seminar will follow the format of a sit‑down dinner combined with a networking session. During the event, keynote speakers Martin Li from Hengan International, Gert‑Jan van Eck from Huawei, Carla de Bruijn from Spring GDS Asia Pacific (part of the PostNL Group) and Yee Man Tang from EY Belastingadviseurs BV will share deep insights into their knowledge and experience, through presentations and a panel discussion moderated by a journalist (to be confirmed).
