This event is organised by the Italian Chamber
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao, in collaboration with Deloitte and the Asian Family Office Foundation, and with the support of the German Chamber, is pleased to present Cross-Border Payments Rewired: Digital Assets, Stablecoins and the Future of Settlement.
Taking place during the week of Hong Kong FinTech Week, this international event will bring together the business and financial communities to explore the changing landscape of cross-border payments.
Digital assets and stablecoins are moving beyond theory to become part of the foundations of global finance, reshaping how value is transferred, settled and managed across borders. As technology, markets and regulation evolve, understanding the practical implications of these changes is increasingly important for businesses and financial institutions.
Against this backdrop, an expert panel of leaders from financial services, digital-asset platforms, technology and professional services will explore the future of cross-border payments. The discussion will examine the growing role of stablecoins, developments in the regulatory and market landscape, institutional adoption, and real-world use cases shaping the next generation of payment and settlement infrastructure.
The panel will also consider what these developments mean for Hong Kong, highlighting the opportunities and challenges for the city as an international financial centre and innovation hub.
Following the panel discussion, participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers during a Q&A session and continue the conversation over networking and light refreshments
