Sustainability Management Training Series
The Sustainability Management Training Series is a step-by-step training program featuring modules on fundamental sustainability principles, risk and compliance management, sustainable supply chain and strategic sustainability communication.
This training series is broken down into 4 individual modules, from 09/05/2024 to 19/06/2024, in 4 half-days. Each module lasts for half a day from 0900-1230.
The Series is aimed at equipping supply chain professionals, sustainability managers and procurement managers with the essential information to successfully start their sustainability journey, identify and mitigate sustainability risks, ensure regulatory compliance and demonstrate their organisation's commitment to ethical conduct and responsible business practices.

About this Module: Strategic Sustainability Communication
Sustainability is no longer "nice to have" but part of a company's core business operations and a driver of customer, employer and investor loyalty. Sustainability communication plays an important role to demonstrate company's commitment to truthfully and authentically disclose its sustainability ambitions, strategy, goals, challenges and efforts. Effective sustainability communication strengthens a company's transparency, authenticity, and accountability increasing employee satisfaction, attracting customers and investors, and engaging stakeholders in sustainable development.
In Module 4 of the Sustainability Management Training Series we will take a closer look into strategic sustainability communication as the means to demonstrate legal compliance (part 1) and to effectively engage with important stakeholders to showcase an organisation's progress on sustainability commitments (part 2). We will complete the module with a look into greenwashing laws and regulations around the globe and the increasing regulatory effort to crack down on misleading sustainability claims (part 3).
