In this episode, Hannes and Johannes take you to the border of Hong Kong and Shenzhen, where an enormous infrastructure project is to be realised in the coming years: the Northern Metropolis. In the long term, a new commercial hub between Hong Kong and Shenzhen with 2.5 million inhabitants and 650,000 jobs is supposed to develop here. Smart city and green technologies play a central role in this major project - with potential market opportunities for German companies.
