The AsiaBerlin Summit 2024 on November 25-26 brought together hundreds of leaders and decision-makers from business, politics, and institutions at the Rotes Rathaus for a two-day conference packed with thought-provoking panel discussions and networking opportunities.
The event featured keynotes and insights from high-level speakers such as Berlin’s Senator for Economic Affairs, 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗶𝘀𝗸𝗮 𝗚𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝘆, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport, Susanne Henckel, and innovation leaders with a strong focus on Asia like Karena Belin, Clas Neumann, Martin Gothe, and many more.
One of our highlights? Taking the Main Stage to host an engaging talk on 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮: 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀. A huge thank you to Karena Belin, Xin SONG, and Kiyoko Hashiba for joining our Delegate Hannes Farlock and panel moderator Antonia Charlotte Winkler on stage to share their unique perspectives on regional nuances, building local partnerships, and overcoming regulatory challenges in Asia’s dynamic markets.
In sum, the AsiaBerlin Summit provided an excellent platform to gain valuable insights into the innovation landscapes of Berlin and Asia and to establish new connections. Big kudos to Marten Rauschenberg and the whole team for organising this inspiring event, we look forward to further exploring synergies and cooperation potentials between the two start-up hubs Berlin and Hong Kong!
