We are pleased to announce that, effective today, 1 December 2025, Lea Etsebeth has assumed her role as Delegate and Chief Representative of the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce (GIC) in Hong Kong.
Lea brings extensive international experience from across the AHK network, having previously served at DIHK in Berlin for four years and at the Southern African-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry for nine years. She will also be serving ex officio on the Board of Directors of the German Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong (GCC).
She looks forward to engaging with the local business community, member companies and partners, and to strengthening economic relations between Hong Kong and Germany. Reflecting on her new role, Lea shared:
“I am truly excited to join the GIC Hong Kong team. I feel highly motivated to work closely with our colleagues and the GCC Board to further deepen our ties with the dynamic business community of Hong Kong.”
