The EU is moving towards a world where products carry their own digital record: what they are made of, how they were made, how to repair or recycle them. For companies selling into Europe, the Digital Product Passport (DPP) is quickly turning from a future concept into a practical compliance question. Which rules apply to us? What data will we need to provide? And when? In the meantime, countries in Asia are developing their own DPP, with China, South Korea, and Japan catching up in particular.
In this seminar, Celeste Yeung (CplusE) and Dr. Benno Schmitzer (KURZ Digital Solutions) explain what the DPP compliance looks like in practice. The session walks through the expected timeline for DPP delegated acts in the EU and looks at where China, Japan, and South Korea stand on DPP development. CplusE demonstrates CpluseRegAI platform live, showing how an AI & human co-monitoring approach support businesses in anticipating and responding to evolving regulatory changes through proactive regulatory research, customized compliance training, and ESG-focused advisory services. CplusE engages with businesses to build resilient long-term carbon reduction strategies by integrating regulatory monitoring with sustainability solutions such as PPWR, LCA accounting, carbon management, SBTi climate transition plan for ESG reporting.
