On 30 September 2025, GCC was pleased to co-organise Hong Kong Horizon 2050 and Beyond together with the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. The event brought together over 100 business leaders, professionals, and policymakers for a forward-looking discussion on Hong Kong’s long-term positioning as a global hub.
The programme explored the city’s evolving role within the Greater Bay Area, opportunities under CEPA, and strategies to strengthen resilience, innovation, and cultural inclusivity. Keynote addresses by Mr Algernon Yau, JP, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, and Mrs Gabriella Montandon inspired thoughtful dialogue on sustainable growth and adaptive governance in a shifting geopolitical landscape.
