The rules around product documentation in Europe are changing fast — and most sourcing, retail and brand teams are not ready.
Join Michael Keppe, Co-Founder & CEO of Pergamon Labs, for a hands-on two-hour workshop where you will build a real EU-compliant product manual from scratch using AI — and leave with both the knowledge and a certificate to prove it.
This is not a lecture. You will film a product, upload it to Pergamon, and export a structured, multilingual compliance document in real time — together with the other participants.
What We Cover
Part 1: Three EU Regulations Reshaping Product Documentation (30 min)
A practical briefing on the three regulations that will directly affect how your products are documented, labelled and sold in European markets:
- European Accessibility Act (EAA) — In force from June 2025, requiring accessible digital documentation aligned to EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1. Existing PDFs and manuals need remediation, not just reformatting.
- EU Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 — New labelling, QR code and digital information requirements, with key deadlines in August 2026 and February 2027. Brands selling battery products are treated as the legal manufacturer for compliance purposes.
- Digital Product Passport (DPP) — Rolling out from 2027 across priority sectors, with full coverage expected by 2030. A structured, machine-readable digital record linked via QR code will become a precondition for placing many products on the EU market.
Key takeaway: These three regulations turn documentation from a static PDF problem into an ongoing compliance system challenge for every brand and retailer selling into the EU.
Part 2: Pergamon Live Demonstration (20 min)
See the full workflow in action: how a typical private-label product goes from raw input to a structured, multilingual EU-compliant user manual — in minutes, not weeks.
You will see:
- How the Pergamon AI Assistant generates multilingual output across 24 EU languages simultaneously, with compliance logic built in from the start
- Why Pergamon is not a general AI writing tool: the difference between unstructured AI output and compliance-framework-aligned documentation
- How product updates, new languages and regulatory changes are applied instantly across all outputs
- What audit-ready, on-brand documentation looks like at scale
Part 3: Hands-On Group Exercise — Build a Manual Together (40 min)
Participants use their smartphones to film a product on the day. We upload the footage together to Pergamon, work through the AI-guided questionnaire as a group, and export a complete, structured user manual — live, in the room.
No prior experience with AI tools or documentation software required. You bring your phone. We handle the rest.
